Our leadership have a combined 20 years’ experience in providing travel for refugees through their work with other charities in the sector and have seen first hand the incredible impact that donated air miles can have for refugee families. Moved by Miles is registered UK Community Interest Company (CIC) keen to ensure the knowledge and understanding that comes with having lived experience is a core foundation of our organisation.
Amy Lythgoe
Amy established Together Now in 2010 and ran the organisation as a volunteer for 14 years, supporting over 1200 families to be reunited, up to 400 per annum in latter years and building up to a £100k turnover. She is also a trustee of Greater Manchester Aid Unit (GMIAU), an immigration law centre. Amy has seen the long term impact of family reunion, sitting alongside clients who had benefited from travel assistance on the Together Now and GMIAU board, working with them as they have used their lived experience to mentor others, become interpreters for new families and achieved personal and professional goals.
Dan Moore
Dan was an early donor to Miles4Migrants, reuniting one of their first refugee families in partnership with Amy at Together Now. He joined the team as a volunteer flight booker before becoming the inaugural Director of Technology and Innovation, managing the systems and logistics behind 300 million donated airline miles and 25,000 refugee reunification flights while building airline partnerships and global reunification programmes. He has since worked with a range of charities across the globe to help them use technology to achieve their missions. He has a longstanding interest in the complex world of miles and award travel and has seen for himself the difference donated air travel makes in reuniting a family.
